Three for Spring

Vernal EquinoxHave you noticed
how Spring danced in today
en pointe, and pirouetted
her way around Nature’s stage
through wind-tossed, rain-soaked
delicate green foliage, and still
dainty flowers blushing with arrival,
that Winter, somehow, left behind?

First spring day, rain falls.
Wind winds around trees, twisting
leaves that now hold tight.
